Purpose
ArianeGroup, whose registered office is at 51-61, Route de Verneuil, 78130 Les Mureaux, France, has an online meeting service.
Legal Basis
The legitimate interest of ArianeGroup in (i) providing its employees with a secure Online Meeting Service that they may use internally and/or with external Guests to hold professional meetings, and (ii) ensuring traceability in order to protect the company’s information system, conduct fraud prevention audits, fulfil its legal obligations, in particular under French law no. 2017-1510 of 30 October 2017 to reinforce internal security and the fight against terrorism, and under French law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy, and compile usage statistics.
Data Categories Processed
For the Organiser: Last name, first name, professional email address, connection logs, and any other data published by the Organiser on the Online Meeting Service that enables the Organiser’s identification.
For Guests: Identity data, email address, connection logs, and any other data published by Guests on the Online Meeting Service that enables their identification.
General Information
Connection logs are generated when the User’s device connects to the Online Meeting Service. These logs are accessible only to the Service administrators.
When joining a session, the User’s video and microphone are activated by default. They may be deactivated by the User at any time.
Data Recipients
Subject to the above, ARIANEGROUP will not use or share Users’ personal data with any third party without the User’s consent. Neither ARIANEGROUP nor any third party may access or use Users’ personal data for purposes other than providing the Online Meeting Service, performing services necessary to maintain and develop the Online Meeting Service, and monitoring and ensuring compliance with the Terms of Use.
ARIANEGROUP engages service providers to assist with managing and maintaining the Online Meeting Service. These providers are contractually prohibited from using or disclosing personal data except to provide services on behalf of ARIANEGROUP or to fulfil a legal obligation.
ARIANEGROUP may disclose Users’ personal data only if it considers that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with the law, a court order or legal process applicable to or enforceable against ARIANEGROUP; (b) protect or defend the interests, rights and property of ARIANEGROUP, the Online Meeting Service and its Users; or (c) ensure the security of Users of the Online Meeting Service, ARIANEGROUP or a third party.
Data Retention
Audio and video data are never recorded or saved.
Security Measures
ArianeGroup uses an Online Meeting Service that has received First-Level Security Certification (CSPN) from the French National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI). ARIANEGROUP has also implemented physical, logical and organisational security measures to ensure that personal data are not lost, altered or disclosed to unauthorised third parties. Communications and chats are end-to-end encrypted to optimally protect the confidentiality of your communications.
While ARIANEGROUP is committed to safeguarding the security, confidentiality and integrity of personal data processed through the Online Meeting Service, the inherent characteristics of the Internet as a global communication network mean that ARIANEGROUP cannot guarantee that such data, when transmitted online, will not be intercepted by third parties, including hackers. All data are hosted by ArianeGroup.
Your Rights
All Users have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, as well as the right to object to processing and to give instructions regarding the use of their data after their death. These rights may be exercised by contacting the ARIANEGROUP Data Protection Officer at DPO-France@ariane.group or DPO-Germany@ariane.group.
If, after contacting us, you believe that your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint online to the supervisory authority (CNIL in France www.cnil.fr).
Exercising any of these rights will not result in any negative consequences or discrimination, such as denial of access to the Service or potential or actual reduced quality of service.
