ArianeGroup and its subsidiaries were in full force at the Satellite 2025 trade show in Washington D.C., USA.
We were delighted to be back at this major industry event, which took place from 11–13 March in the US capital. ArianeGroup has long-standing partners and customers in the US including Aerojet Rocketdyne (we supply the nozzles for their RL10 engine used on the ULA heavy-lift launcher Vulcan) and Amazon, which has chosen Ariane 6, operated by Arianespace, for eighteen Kuiper constellation launches.
Our flight-proven flagship launcher Ariane 6 was naturally centre-stage on our stand at Satellite 2025. In addition, visitors were able to become familiar with a wide range of our space and satellite equipment and services, including Divert and Attitude Control Systems (DACS), components for the RL10 cryogenic rocket engine, specialist composite parts and chemical propulsion systems for satellites, Sodern’s Auriga (compact star tracker for constellations and smallsats) and Auricam (small multi-purpose camera), Pyroalliance’s pyrotechnic and mechanical products, and, of course, launch services from Arianespace.
The show was an opportunity for the Group to introduce Amer Khouri, the new President of Arianespace Inc., and David Cavaillolès, the new Arianespace CEO. They took part in a high-level panel discussion together with representatives from SpaceX, Blue Origin, Brian Rogers, Rocket Lab and ULA.
Our relationship with US players is very important to us, and ArianeGroup will be at Space Symposium in Colorado Springs next month, and then at the SmallSat Conference in Salt Lake City, in August.
