Ariane 6 dress rehearsal on the launch pad
The Ariane 6 flight model – now complete following the integration of the fairing and the payloads for the first flight – has been fuelled on the launchpad at Europe’s Spaceport and subsequently drained of fuel in preparation for launch.
This “wet dress rehearsal” included a full countdown to launch stopping as planned just a few seconds before a lift-off.
