As part of the employee recruitment process, ArianeGroup’s Human Resources department digitally processes data collected from candidates’ applications. This processing complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 26 April 2016 relative to the protection of personal data (GDPR) and with the revised French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978. ArianeGroup undertakes to apply appropriate measures to ensure the protection, confidentiality and security of applicants’ personal data.
This processing is based on the following legal basis:
The Human Resources department processes data to manage recruitment procedures, carry out compulsory formalities and compile the administrative files for selected applicants. With your consent, the information you provide can be added to our CV database or used for other job postings.
Only personal information required to assess your ability to fill a given position or to evaluate your professional skills will be requested during the selection process. We will ask you to provide the following relevant information: educational certificates, degrees and diplomas, and work-related experience, skills and capabilities associated with the position for which you are applying.
If you do not supply these details, your application will not be considered.
In the event that your application is successful, in order to draft your employment contract, we request that you provide information and supporting documents in order to comply with:
Obtaining this information and supporting documents from selected applicants is mandatory. Consequently, failure to provide this information will mean that an employment contract cannot be entered into.
Where are data stored?
Data are stored by ArianeGroup through GDPR-compliant web hosts.
How long can data be held?
Data are held for the duration of the recruitment processes.
Selected applicants’ data are held in their administrative file and kept for the applicable retention period (up to five years following termination of employment).
Data of non-selected applicants are retained on our CV database, if the applicant consents, so that they can be informed of any new job vacancies which might be appropriate for an 18-month period in France, and a six-month period in Germany.
Who has access to data collected from job applicants?
Applicant files are processed confidentially. Only recruitment officers, senior staff in departments interested in a given application and the recruitment agency with which we work have access to the applicant’s personal information.
In the event of an applicant’s selection, to complete the recruitment process, the HR department may need to transfer certain information to employment-related entities (unemployment insurance, national health insurance, pension, private health insurance).
What rights do you have and how can they be exercised?
You have the right to access and rectify your personal data, as well as to object to their processing and to request their deletion.
